We worked in the garden this week. We weeded the Target garden plot (and sweated) then planted blackberry bushes and mint plants. We saw snails, worms, centipedes and many different varieties of plants. Bird watching in your yard! Choose a way to share your findings. Refer to your MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE survey for ideas. Be Creative!
We continue to explore the many talents of Leonardo da Vinci. This week we will learn how da Vinci loved to play practical jokes on his friends and he even authored a few riddles that we will solve. Da Vinci was fascinated with birds and their flight. We will be researching the different kind feathers birds have and the purpose of each feather.
Be sure to ask what we have learned each Tuesday! We had a fast first day of Target! Everyone that had a binder is set. Please review and sign the Target Tally. Homework assignment is on the back but just in case...
With help, research Leonardo da Vinci. Find two interesting and unusual facts about him to share with the class. Bring in materials to build your Magic Treehouse (small box, toilet paper rolls, bottle caps, and other odds and ends) |
